Hi,
I am trying to configure a Teltonika FMC125 modem to send data to Flespi, that the FMC125 receives on its RS232 input port.
I am following the webpage here : https://flespi.com/blog/configuring-teltonika-devices-with-flespi , but I do not see either the "Settings" or "Input/Output" tabs.
I can see the RS232 packet being received in Flespi in the "Traffic" page, but I am not able to configure a channel to pass this data on to an MQTT Broker for example.

I am sure I have got some configuration wrong - any help gratefully appreciated :-)

    Hi Howerd,
The tab "Settings" is now called "COMMANDS & SETTINGS", the article has a bit outdated screenshots.
Under the new tab "COMMANDS & SETTINGS" you can find the "Input/Output":

And in any way if you need to receive RS232 data through the flespi platform - it has to be registered as a parameter in a message, usually called "payload.hex" or "payload.text". With proper configuration you should find it on the "LOGS & MESSAGES" tab.

      Hi kial,

Thanks for the quick reply :-)
I had guessed that "COMANDS & SETTINGS" was the new name for "Settings" - yesterday I could not see anything there, but today I can. Clearly I need more patience ;-)

if you need to receive RS232 data through the flespi platform - it has to be registered as a parameter in a message, usually called "payload.hex" or "payload.text".
It is exactly this that I would like to achieve. How do I register RS232 data as a parameter in a message?
There does not seem to be an option to do this in the "flespi universal device configurator". I can access the Teltonika modem using the Teltonika Configurator - presumably I have to ask Teltonika how to do that...

I will return to the Teltonika end of the connection now - thanks for the hint that I must register RS232 data as a parameter in a message - hopefully Teltonika can help me to do this.

      Best regards,
      Howerd

Howerd You need to configure it using Teltonika USB configuring tool. Here is the explanation
