Channel logs and messages UI: Clear does not work?

When viewing a Channel's logs and messages, there is a "Clear" button that implies it will clear or remove the logs or message or both. It does appear to do that for a moment. But after refresh, they are all back again.
After testing all day I have garbage in this Channel and would like to start fresh now that the devices are all properly configured. I don't want old data impacting view/exports. How can I clear all messages/logs without having to create new channels and reconfigure devices to the new channel?

Hello.
It is very important for us not to lose the data of our clients. Therefore, there is no way in our interface to easily clear device messages.

The clear button in toolbox(messages & logs) just clears the data in the UI for easier debugging (this is not a bug, but a feature).

However, if you want to delete all messages from a channel or device (we recommend using devices to store messages), you can specify in the channel/device settings messages_ttl = 0 sec., then the entire message history will be cleared (not instant operation).
