hi

i am using a free acount on flespi
i configured a channel for Teltonika and i got messages and see them. this is OK.
i configured a channel for ERM but there is a problem with the protocol.
i am using this device https://ermtelematics.com/products/starlink-asset-tracker
i can see messages from the device with correct ident 208994, but message is partial and in the upper logs i can see repeating errors as below.
channel details: Host: 82421.flespi.gw Port: 31931

what is the source of the problem? can it be solved?

102: channel connection was closed (received data violates channel's protocol)

rafinewman Please see ERM devices usage specifics
Device settings "Dynamic parameter" has to be correctly synchronized with the on-device configuration.

do i have to configure it separately for each device?
is there a technique to configure it for a channel for all devices?

flespi automatically downloads it from the device and stores as a setting value "Dynamic parameters".
But it has to be synchronized in case if you changed it via SMS or USB configurator tool so flespi does not know about it.

          hi

i sync the dynamic params and i can see messages from device with field values
but i still get every minutes this error below.
is it a problem with protocol?
or is it because it is a device you dont support? can you add support?

rafinewman OK, we'll add it. You can be notified about it in ERM protocol changelog
By the way, the best way to report such an issue is to use support chat: it is located in top right corner of your flespi.io panel.
