Getting started with Trackit - help required

Hi Everyone.
I have brought this topic up once before and I am hoping I won't sound like a broken record.

I still fall into the Noob category as I am far better working with hardware. Although I have built a few websites, I still have a long way to go.

This may sound weird, but I want to work backwards where I install and host Trackit on a Webserver, then have a look & feel of how it looks and functions, while I can go into the backend and edit the coding to do the necessary tweaks.

The 3 questions I have are;

Where can I find the file to upload a functioning Trackit onto the Webserver straight away
What are the minimum requirements for the Webserver, and
Where do I create an end user account for Trial and R & D purposes, and is there an end-user login function on the existing Trackit?

TrackIt is a completely frontend application (user interface). Only flespi api is used as a backend.
Therefore, in order to deploy it on your server, a regular web server, for example Nginx, is enough. The data is used from the flespi.io account, so you need an account on flespi.io

I know I will need to do some tweaking, but would this work straight off the bat, once the first device connects?

Is there an app I can install on my Android phone or tablet that I can use to act like a tracking unit?

Hello Again,
I have downloaded Trackit, and I am running the application on the computer. When clicking on the HTML file, and the UI is open on the browser. It comes up as Offline. Can I assume that ports need to be opened?

If so, Can you advise on what ports need to be opened please.

If you run any web server like nginx, apache and put the files in the working folder and open the server address in the browser - you will not see the "OFFLINE" message

Do you happen to have information where we can customise Trackit to be a fully functioning Tracking Platform?

Or another option, are there recommended Freelancers or Trackit specialists who would offer a customised Trackit platform, with all the functions we would need?

technique TrackIt is just a pure frontend application. To make full-featured tracking platform you need something with backend as well. You may search for ready to use solution and check their integration with flespi (if flespi is needed in that case) or find a dev-team.
For dev team when using as much flespi functionality as possible (calculators, webhooks, realms, subaccounts, etc) you should expect quick start and ready to use POC in few months.

There are a some people and companies that may help you but unfortunately they may not use forum. Check our blog for use cases and contact those that developed something looking interesting to you, as an option.
