As you probably already know, we recently released a plugin that converts DDD files to JSON format.
Now we'd like to introduce a viewer application for tacho file parsed content: TachoBox
I want to be clear right away - this is by no means an official DDD file viewer.
It's just a way to explore and evaluate the contents of a tachograph file.
Also, please note the Alpha label in the version.
This means the application is in a very early stage of development.
We also thought about you - not everyone has a device configured with a tachograph and the plugin set up.
That's why with a single button you can load demo data (The first item in the menu on the left) and see how the application works with realistic data.
What's inside:
- Overview - GitHub-style activity heatmap, driver profile radar chart, and vehicle summary with mileage
- Activities - daily timeline with table and gantt views, activity calendar, click any day to see full details
- Day details - 24h clock disc, activity breakdown, EU 561/2006 limit bars (daily, continuous, weekly driving), GNSS map, events, faults, places, vehicle info - all in one dialog with day-by-day navigation
- Vehicles - all vehicles used by the driver with registration plates, time periods, and odometer readings
- Places, Events, Faults, Conditions
- Map - GNSS route visualization with interactive point table, fullscreen mode
- Compliance - EU 561/2006 violation detection, anomaly analysis
- Multi-file support - load multiple files, toggle between them
- Gen1 / Gen2 - supports both tachograph generations, including G2 GNSS data
- flespi integration - browse devices with configured tacho, load files directly from the platform
