Xirgo: odometer parameters renamed
Two odometer values were reported under the misleading name trip.mileage, which implied a per-trip distance that resets on engine start. In fact both values accumulate and never reset on their own.
What changes:
Text protocol, field MI (GPS lifetime odometer, never resets)
trip.mileage → vehicle.mileage
Binary protocol, parameter 0x2E (odometer counted by the tracker from OBD speed)
trip.mileage → can.tracker.counted.mileage
What stays the same:
- Binary GPS trip odometers
0x10 and 0x88 keep their names trip.mileage.1 and trip.mileage.2
- Binary GPS lifetime odometer
0x18 stays vehicle.mileage
Transition period:
The old trip.mileage is still sent alongside the new names until October 30, 2026. Please update your integrations, calculators and streams to the new names before that date.
