in the dashboard page of message parameter there is a green V checkmark on the right side of some parameters
what is the meaning of it?

what is the meaning of the protocol number? is it internal numbering of Flespi or something else?

some params have the description : Protocol specific .... value
how do i know exactly the mapping between your parameter to the original field of the device protocol?

for example:
event.enum
event.code
alarm.code

rafinewman messages parameters page is the wrapper of this REST API.
protocol.id is the ID of protocol, defined by the flespi.

We do not have information about the source for the parameter at the moment, although we have this in mind. Right now if it is unclear the source of parameter you can:

check changelog for specific protocol, there, when we add or change something, we usually provide information about what piece of the data from original protocol will be stored under what name in flespi.
ask our team in HelpBox or here on the forum. In both cases we need from you parameter name and exact protocol name.

rafinewman The check marks those parameters that are found in several protocols, and in these protocols they are used for a similar device parameter.
