We in flespi have supported neoway protocol.
This topic is a changelog for this protocol.

Added new setting for Neoway T101 device: Configure, Actions tab. The setting allows to configure Periodic Tracking, Periodic Report, Alarm Clocks and Alarms in one request.

Neoway protocol updated: added negative acknowledgements for packets. Now in case of any parsing error, server will respond:

for 0x0101 Login packet - with 0x8101 Login Acknowledgement with Result = 1 (wrong parameters or operation failure)
for 0x0211 Location Data - with 0x8150 General Acknowledgement with Result = 2 (wrong message)

The changes are applicable for Neoway T101 device.

The protocol will be affected by the change in type of parameters gsm.mcc and gsm.mnc to be installed in 2 weeks - May 23rd, 2022: both parameters that now have type "string" will be stored as "number". The possible leading zeroes in MNC will be ignored (e.g. the value "01" will be stored as 1).

Neoway protocol is updated:

Transparent message of type 0xF3 Trip report is supported. The following flespi parameters are registered for the 0xF3 report fields:
- Start Date - trip.start.timestamp
- End Date - trip.stop.timestamp
- Trip distance - trip.mileage, km
- Furl consumed during the trip - trip.fuel.consumed, liters
- Idling duration during the trip - trip.idle.time, seconds
- Fuel consumed for idling during the trip - trip.fuel.idle.consumed, liters
- Maximum speed during the trip - trip.max.speed, km/h
- Maximum RPM during the trip - trip.max.rpm, rpm
Fixed parsing of 0xF5 Extended device properties messages when ICCID, IMSI and IMEI fields are empty.

Neoway protocol is updated: Alarm flags of 0x0200 Location report are supported. The following flespi parameters are registered when corresponding bit of Alarm flags field is set to 1:

Change in parsing of the indexed Wi-Fi related parameters:
wifi.mac.address.{index}
wifi.signal.strength.{index}

The first reported WiFi access point will be stored without index, like wifi.mac.address, wifi.signal.strength. The next access points will be reported starting from index 1.
From now the Access point with index 1 will be duplicated to no-indexed parameter. Duplication of indexed parameter will be removed in 2 weeks, April 28th.
