We are looking for an asset-tracking device specifically for trailers and lowbed trailers. We do not require engine, fuel, or diesel monitoring, as the device is intended only for trailer asset tracking.
A device suitable for concealed installation inside the trailer or lowbed trailer, including between metal structures.
It must withstand high temperatures and harsh operating conditions.
It should operate from the trailer power supply and include a backup battery that continues operating if external power is disconnected or the device is tampered with.
Please confirm the battery backup duration after power disconnection, including whether it can operate for 24 hours, less, or longer.
The device is required to help prevent theft, as the truck-head tracking device may be removed; therefore, we need an independent and concealed tracker for the trailer.
Please provide the technical datasheet in PDF format, including operating temperature range, battery capacity, backup operating time after power loss, installation method, and water/dust protection rating, if applicable.
