Is it still possible to push local data from Mosquitto to Flepsi? I've been reading so much conflicting information and have had no luck getting it to work? Are there any MQTT brokers that do support such a setup?

Where did you read "so much conflicting information"? For example, I have a bridge set up and everything has been working without any problems for several years.
