I am in the process of developing a Version 2 GPS Tracking platform.

Can you advise whether there are white-labeled GPS Tracking UI for end users, which is responsive and can handshake into Flespi please?

Flespi does provide a free TrackIt open-source web application that you can use as a starting point to build your own GPS tracking UI. TrackIt! offers basic GPS monitoring capabilities, including device positioning on a map. As it is open source, you can modify it to suit your requirements and use it under your own brand.

You may also consider integrating flespi with other GPS tracking systems or platforms that offer white-label solutions or support custom branding.

I have gone through many white label options and wasted thousands of dollars in the process.

I would rather take up and pay for Trackit or anything equivalent, where there are no middlemen and I can do proper customisations to how we want.

Can Trackit be used for commercial purposes, where we can resell to our customer base, and what is the cost for this?

Lastly, is Trackit responsive to work on Tablets and phones?

technique TrackIt is open source under MIT license so you are welcome to do on top of it whatever you want. However it is just a tracking UI with basic features inside more targeted to be used as a sample. Comprehensive tracking application for end-user is usually much more heavy and feature-full.

Any custom application even on top of flespi will cost you even more thousands of dollars where you will have to implement on your own various systems like billing, invoicing, user and account management, UI customization and so on. With a white/grey labeling solution there is always somebody who already invested his time and money into these features and if they are already available it can be a good option to take it even if their implementation is not fit your vision 100%.

I do not know what exactly market you are targeting but in Gurtam we have very fresh and responsive app for security oriented GPS tracking services in SMB called Forguard. You can check it or it's little B2C-segment brother named Ruahvik. These apps are good samples of what can be done on top of flespi. However if you want to develop something of the same quality it will still cost you some money and obviously you will need a good team-lead grade developer to architect your solution. People often underestimate the importance of good application architecture which usually is the product of experienced engineer work.

So, if you want to develop something the very first step is to find a good solution architect. Once partnered together he should help you to reach your goal with any team of coder type of developers. In case you will have troubles finding such a partner you may also look to a list of companies that has some experience with flespi oriented telematics application development. However good lead-architect partner in your own team is the best way to go with such a project.

Thank you for getting back to me.,

I have already got one of your recommended partners lined up to perform the fully customised work in 2024.

There was an older version of Wialon which was perfect, which I think was known as Wialon Basic (correct me if I am wrong), it had a green theme and it was perfect for what I wanted.
I requested for it a long time ago to purchase and install on our Server, unfortunately was not available.

I have tried Wialon, and unfortunately, did not suit. Our customers didn't like it.

I currently have Ruhavik, which the OBD dongle is pointing to, and I am taking notes on functionalities.

We are mainly focusing on the Heavy vehicle transport segment, but at the same time, we want to be able to cater for general usage as well, such as basic fleet management, vehicle security - including sending push notifications for security related breaches (Alarm triggered, organic geofence exit, etc.).

We want to create the whole box and dice which will also involve developing an in-vehicle tablet known as the DriverConsole - which will allow the drivers to log in, manage fatigue and driving hours, and incorporate GPS Navigation.

I have to apologise in advance, I fall into the Noob category when it comes to software development, and even working on GitHub.

I am great when it comes to hardware and working on all types of vehicles.

Is there an easy way I can install Trackit on my Oracle Cloud server, such as Command lines, etc? In this way, I can have a bit of a play around.

And what Linux distribution is recommended?
On Oracle Cloud, there is Ubuntu, Oracle Linux (RHEL Based) and CentOS Stream.

technique TrackIt is just frontend-only simple vue-based application. Basically you can install it on any webserver.
